Two militants killed, three nabbed in NWA

RAWALPINDI—At least two miscreants were killed while three others were apprehended in two separate incidents on Sunday morning in North Waziristan Agency.
According to details, a vehicle when asked to stop for a routine check on a check post manned by security forces near Mir Ali did not do so and fired at the check post.
Two miscreants were killed and the other two were apprehended when the security personnel effectively responded. Important documents including maps were recovered from the possession of these miscreants that indicate their involvement in recent terrorist actions in North Waziristan Agency and also their further plans.
In another incident, miscreants from Machi Khel area fired rockets on security forces. Locals of the area want peace acted against miscreants, apprehended one and handed over to the security forces. The security forces have highly appreciated the gesture of the locals.
Meanwhile three security persons also embraced Shahadat last night as result of exchange of fire. Search of the compounds held by miscreants in Kheti Killi area have been completed. Meanwhile, Maj Gen Shaukat Sultan  Director General ISPR talking to BBC said that vast area of North Waziristan has been cleansed from the miscreants.
Last night militants attacked different Pak military check post with mortar shells in which 3 Jawans were killed. He also said that militants also attacked a military check post in the day light on Sunday, in which 2 militants were killed and two more were arrested.—ISPR
