MMA general secretary Maulana Fazlur Rehman has observed that option for
tendering resignations from parliament is open to opposition adding the
combined opposition will resign and rally against the government
despotic policies when time comes. “The opposition anti government
movement after Eid-ul-Fitr will terribly shake the corridors of power.
This campaign will lend a new turn to the political history of the

He alleged that crackdown is underway against deeni madaris, religious
parties and Ulema at the behest of US. They are being intimidated and
harassed. Madaris are performing religious and national obligations.
Changes are being made in the curriculum of these madaris under US
pressure. Young generation is being alienated from Jehad and religion.
He cautioned that Pakistan needed to pursue unequivocal stance on Iran
issue. The situation will take alarming turn if we repeat the past
mistake for fear of US. He went on to say that US had sought enhanced
cooperation from Pakistan against terrorism. It means to accord
permission to US for setting up its military bases in Balochistan
against Iran. But we should avoid repeating history of Afghanistan and
flatly refuse to US.
This course will lead to protect our national interest. Responding to a
question he said that diplomatic relations are being established with
Israel under US threats. Israeli foreign office has categorically
indicated to it, he added. Only one man is taking such
decisions.—Agencies |
