Korea admires Pakistan’s role for
global peace
Pakistan to hit back aggression in same
coin: PM
SEOUL—Korean President Roh Moo-hyun in a
meeting with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz
here Friday appreciated Pakistan’s role in
promoting world peace and welcomed its
ongoing dialogue with India to resolve
disputes for durable peace in South Asia. In
a meeting held at the Blue House (President
House) that lasted for about 50 minutes, the
two leaders held wide-ranging talks on
bilateral ties and regional and
international issues including Iran, North
Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq and UN reforms.

11 troops, 30 militants killed in NWA
clashes
ISLAMABAD—Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan
Sherpao has said that at least eleven jawans
of security forces perished in the ongoing
operation in North Waziristan while twenty
five to thirty miscreants have also been
killed in this operation. Speaking to
reporters on Friday, Interior Minister said
that causalities occurred on the both sides
in ongoing operation in Khati Kali in the
area of North Waziristan Agency where in at
least eleven personnel of security forces
perished, out of them six on Thursday while
