115 arrested, cache of drugs, illicit arms recovered

ISLAMABAD—On the special directives of SSP Islamabad; Sikandar Hyatt, Capital Cops, in August initiated a special campaign against anti-social elements and illicit arms. 115 accused were arrested while cache of arms and drugs were recovered from the accused.
According to details, on the special directives of SSP Islamabad; Sikandar Hyatt, Capital Cops, during August, initiated a special campaign against drug peddlers and illicit arms. Thus, during the said campaign, Capital Cops nabbed 115 while recovering 17 kilo and 950 grams charas, 710 grams heroine, 4 kilo and 450 grams opium, 323 liquor bottles, respectively. A man was also arrested while high on drugs.
During campaign against illicit arms, on the other hand, 52 pistols along 30 shells, 2 carbines, 23 magazines, 4 daggers, 1 knuckle duster and 506 bullets were recovered, respectively.
