Carla Khan, three Malaysians cruise into semis

ISLAMABAD—The British-born Pakistani Carla Khan and three Malaysian girls reached the semifinals of 1st POF-Wispa Women’s International Squash Tournament at Jahangir Khan Squash Complex Wah Cantt. on Wednesday.
Carla Khan beat Jenna Gates of England 9-3, 9-2, 9-3 in 13 minutes in her quarterfinal of the championship being held with backing of Women International Squash Players Association (Wispa).
POF sports control board is organising the event.
The following were the results of three other quarterfinals: Delia Arnold (Mas) Beat Lim Yoke Wah (Mas) 3-9, 9-0, 9-6, 9-4 (41 Min), Tricia Chuah (Mas) beat Line Hansen (Den) 6-9, 9-0, 9-3, 9-6 (37 Min) and Sharon Wee (Mas) beat Lee Hai Kyung (Kor) 2-9, 5-9, 9-1, 9-0, 9-2 (37 Min).
The first semifinal will be played between Carla Khan and Delia Arnold and the second once between Tricia Chuah and Sharon Wee at 3.00 and 4.00 p.m. respectively on Thursday.
