MIRANSHAH—At least four persons were killed and five others injured in a US drone missiles strike in North Waziristan Agency, official sources said Thursday.
A US drone fired two missiles at a militant compound in Shanakhora village North Waziristan Agency, killing four suspected militants and injuring five others, official sources said.
The locals said that at least four local civilian were killed and four others were injured when a US drone targeted a house in the wee hours.
The US drone attack created panic among the local residents. A protest was also held in the area, where locals strongly condemned the US predator attacks in the residential areas, where hundreds of civilians have so far been killed.
The protesters demanded of the federal government to take steps to stop foreign involvement inside the country.
