GILGIT—The spokesman of Pakistan Peoples Party Gilgit-Baltistan, Rana Hussain Ali has rejected allegations of pre poll rigging leveled by in charge, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), Gilgit-Baltistan , Marvi Memon. Talking to APP he said that PPP is a public party, adding that it did not believe in anti-democratic steps like pre poll rigging.
The Spokesman said that PPP-led government has taken measures to hold fair and transparent election of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly.
He pointed out that a foolproof system is devised to hold transparent election in Gilgit-Baltistan, adding that every ballot paper would be dully signed by polling officers.
Rana said that PPP has demanded of the Election Commission (EC) to display a copy of result, signed by the presiding officer, adding that copies should also be given to polling agents.
