Cops trace out blind murder in Capital

ISLAMABAD – Capital Cops traced out a blind murder case, booking a man for assassinating his colleague, beheading him while dumping his body in the green belt of G-9/1, here this Saturday.

According to details, PS Margallah found a body from the green belt of sector G-9/1, stuffed in a sack, on 11th October. Â case was registered under FIR No.571 under section 302/34 PPC while the body was shifted to the hospital. Later, the victim was identified as Muhammad Rafique S/O Taj Din, employee of a local hotel at Blue area and resident of Bhandi Wala, Tehsil Chakothi, district Hattain Wala.

Gauging the sensitivity of the case, SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik tasked SP Saddar Sajid Kiyani, for tracing out the culprits involved in this heinous crime. SP Saddar constituted special team headed by ASP

Mustansar Feroz including SHO PS Margallah; Inspector Irshad Abro, Sub-Inspector Feeroz and others.

The team, using all available resources, began investigation and finally busted the perpetrator of the given crime. Moreover, The murderer was identified as Shabbir S/O Muhammad Sharif who, during preliminary investigation, confessed of beheading his colleague along with other accomplices after a personal conflict

with him. Further investigation is underway. Further teams have been sent to arrest the absconding criminals as well.

IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik, have appreciated the performance of the investigation team while announcing cash rewards and commendation certificates for the cops while registering their pride for Capital Cops, for performing very well, accomplishing their duties in a responsible manner and resolving masses' complaints professionally.
