APHC leaders terms IOK as main source of Pak-India tension

ISLAMABAD – Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet

Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has said that the Kashmir dispute is the basic cause of tension between Pakistan and India and without settling it, resolution of other issues between the two countries is not possible.

According to Kashmir Media Service,Shabbir Ahmed Shah addressing in

Srinagar a meeting of his party office bearers from Islamabad, Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama, said that the Kashmiris were ready with open mind to become part of any dialogue process, which was aimed at resolving the Kashmir dispute by giving them their inalienable right to self-determination.

He said that the APHC was the representative and custodian of the Kashmiri martyrs and it would continue their mission till its complete success.

On the other hand, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the reign of terror unleashed by Indian troops and police personnel in Tral to victimise the people for participating in pro-freedom demonstrations.

He appealed to the world humanitarian organizations to take cognisance of gross human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian forces in the occupied territory.

APHC leader, Syed Bashir Andrabi, addressing a public gathering at Tangahar in Pulwama said that settlement of the Kashmir dispute by involving the Kashmiris in Pak-India dialogue process could make the entire South Asian a cradle of peace.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leaders including Bashir Ahmad Butt, Noor Muhammad Kalwal and Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi addressing a public gathering in Gund Brath area of Sopore said that the shrines and sacred places were being targeted in the territory under a well-planned conspiracy to weaken the ongoing liberation movement.
