MoU signed to establish Pak, China Friendship Industrial Park

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have agreed to establish a Pakistan-China Friendship Industrial Park in Donggang city to help promoting bilateral trade between the two friendly countries.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed by Donggang municipality official and Deputy Parliamentary Leader Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) in Senate Talha Mehmood, the chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control, says a message received here.

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Talha Mehmood said the main aim of the Park is to provide a common platform to traders community of the both countries. The businessmen will be able to bring their products to North Asia. The Park will help enhancing bilateral relations.

He urged Chinese businessmen to invest in Pakistan. He invited Chinese businessmen to visit Pakistan and explore opportunities of investment in the country. Chinese businessmen accepted the invitation and promised to visit Pakistan soon.

It may be mentioned here that during the last four years, the trade volume between Pakistan and China has increased to $ 10.6 billion with Pakistani exports to China have doubled to $ 2.2 billion.
