KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan, all offices of SBP Banking Services corporation (SBP BSC), banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) will remain closed for public dealings on Monday the 23rd July, 2012 for deduction of Zakat because 1st Ramazan-ul-Mubarak will either fall on Saturday or Sunday (subject to the sighting of the moon) as these days are observed as two-day weekly offs by the above-mentioned institutions.
However, all officers/staff of SBP, SBP BSC, banks/ DFIs/MFBs will attend their offices on Monday treating it as a normal working day (except for public dealings).—Agencies
