About 5.7m fish-seed to be produced

ISLAMABAD—China Study Center established at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Islamabad is organizing Pak-China Business forum from April 15-18 here in federal capital. This forum will include seminars,workshops and exhibition of products,processes and technological ideas developed in COMSATS.

Senior Research Officer COMSATS,M Raza Ahmad Khan said this while addressing ceremony of “new year celebrations” at Chinese center, here today at COMSATS. He said the China Study Center is facilitating promotion of business between Pakistan and China.

He said that the theme of the forum includes renewable energy technologies,new energy technologies,Water conservation and Biomedical materials. Representative of Pak-China Center,Tanvir Abbas Jafferi said the basic purpose of this center is to explore Pakistani private and public sector interests in China.

It will also help to produce economic and business managers capable of emulating Chinese best practices and capitalizing upon opportunities available in the Chinese,Pakistani and other markets

utilizing their special skills.

On the occasion,Senior Vice President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Raja Iqbal said “ We will support and cooperate with COMSATS in organizing this business forum”.

He said such forums are very important and must be continued on the regular basis as potential of Pak-China business community is very high. On this occasion,Cake cutting ceremony was also held to

welcome the new year according to Chinese calendar.
