VP pledges to boost ties with Singapore

BEIJING–Vice Premier Li Keqiang on Friday vowed to boost exchanges, contact and cooperation with Singapore for the promotion of bilateral ties. Li made the pledge during a meeting with Singapore's Foreign Minister K. Shanmugam. During the meeting, Li hailed the development of bilateral ties, saying the two states have successfully combined their development strategies to realize a "win-win situation." China and Singapore have maintained sound coordination and cooperation on international affairs, which has contributed to peace, stability and development in Asia, Li said. – Xinhua
